BELLINI Pasta Pasta 蘆洲徐匯店 — Restaurant in New Taipei

Nice Italian restaurant tucked inside St.Ignatius shopping plaza (5th floor).

We booked ahead on a Saturday night and id say it was fairly busy so booking would be a good idea.

We chose the 1st set menu for two. One bacon vegetable soup and one butter soup (not bad). Chicken wings for starter was delicious with the spicy sauce and salami pizza was also good (thin crust).

Pasta felt undercooked as the noodles was hard and the pasta sauce lacked some flavour however the meat was good.

We chose peach lemonade & berry lemonade as our drinks. They got the ice request mixed up but still tasted good.

Price came to just under 1200 for 2 people. I’d say this is on the expensive side for Luzhou however the whole dining experience was nice and most of the food was great.

Worth a visit if...

What a joke. This is probably some of the worst food I’ve eaten in New Taipei/Taipei. I can’t believe I paid over $600 for lettuce (what was supposed to be a salad)with a few pieces of mystery meat and a couple shreds of cheese, garlic bread that was sweet, and fried calamari that was soggy. From what I ate, this is NOT authentic Italian food. I can’t speak for the other things on the menu. I won’t be coming back and would never recommend...

Authentic Italian pasta and thin crust pizza are their staple dishes, their steak and risotto are impressive too. Recent renovation created a playground area for kids below 6, making it the ideal restaurant in st Ignatius mall to bring family with kids to. Booking is required during weekends as the place can be quite packed. Shortage of experience waiting staff is a minor problem at the moment so do expect slow response, plan ahead...
