After reading the reviews I was looking forward to trying this new place for pizza, however after my experience, I won't be returning.
First of all, when we walked in, nobody greeted us. Maybe they don't welcome foreigners? Or maybe they just don't like new customers. There's a sign saying "order here" so since nobody came to help us, we lined up at the "order here sign". A few minutes later some more customers entered the store. They were immediately greeted and then offered a table. So now we guess we should have found a seat first. I still don't know. After finally ordering, there wasn't any available tables so we had to wait by the door until a table became available.
Upon receiving the pizza, we were also disappointed. The toppings were scarce yet the price was almost $300. 8 shrimp, some pesto sauce and cheese. Clearly overpriced. In Xindian there are many other pizza shops (or Italian restaurants that serve pizza) who provide better service, are welcoming to ALL customers (including foreigners) and provide better value for money. Read moreeasily one of the best pizza joints. not only the taste is great, but the variety of food, the reasonable prices of even beer and the atmosphere are all just what you expect but hardly ever see from a pizza joint in Taiwan. from now on this is my go to place for pizza and panini cravings. pulled pork and quattro pizza are really good. local taizhong beer three giants is also good. our panini came 3mins after we ordered, pizza +3mins....
