Si Zimei Seafood Restaurant — Restaurant in New Taipei

We were going to Yeliu and decided to have seafood since we are so near the fishing port.

There are easily 6-7 seafood restaurant there and more aggressive ones will approach you. But I decided to stick to this as review was good and I am not disappointed!

Place is clean, aircon and a nice sea view on 2nd storey. It seem they have renovated not long ago. There are 合采(set meal) but we went for alarte carte.

Some recommended dishes are 油條鮮蚵 - we ordered 2nd plate as it was so fresh and the taste is so good. 凤梨虾球 - children will love this. It is bouncy and spread with mayonnaise. 龙虎斑二吃 （not too sure difference between 龙虎斑&石斑鱼, but it is 920 NTD). We chose miso soup (fish head to cook) and steam the meat. Very very fresh.

Above are my top 3 food you should order. 鲑鱼生鱼片，炒水莲、塔香海瓜子，万里蟹 are also good.

Total bill was $6470 for 12 pax including drinks and beer. Quite reasonable and value for money! Food was so great that j didn’t stop to take photos....

We are group of 7 adults and 4 kids, and we came here for seafood.

I ordered Crab, Shrimps, Fish, Clam, Lobster, Vegetable and Rice.

During the ordering process, while choosing what to order, the lady that assist me gives her suggestion. And she seems to be fair, because for every item I ordered, she will tell me the price, and also suggest what cook should be done. After the ordering process, she totaled it and show me how much is the expected bill before she proceed with the order cooking.

There are still many restaurant that does not accept credit. So I advise you ask first to be sure. This restaurant accepts Credit Card.

The food is great, considering the number of people eating in this restaurant while we are having lunch, the food comes out at reasonable time.

Everything is in order expect the toilet needs improvement in terms...

After short walk at geopark yehliu. We walk in the restaurant which the lady at the front quite hospitable in decent way(not in robotic mode). So we order seafood fried rice, whitebait omelette, and fried calamari with fermented bean crumbs. Fried rice - taste nice just like any other taiwanese fried rice. Simple but seasoned perfectly. Whitebait omelette - it instantly change my perception about omelette which usually can be quite boring. This version taste yum, outer look nice with golden browny colour of it. But inside fluffy and creamy but just done well. Calamari - damn I've never ever tried this version before. At the moment I've seen many with salted egg version or with horlick version. But never ever With some fermented bean. Salty enough but just right amount. Service quick enough...
