Not entirely sure how to rate this place. As the only place in Yingge that has an organic salad bar, I often come here when I feel like a light, healthy, fresh meal. However, the portions here are anything but light. Minimum spend on a weekday is $350 for the salad bar, which also comes with Jasmine tea, coffee, bread and cake. The salad bar itself has rice, braised pork, tofu and red bean soup. It's basically a full meal. On the weekends, minimum spend is a meal ($420-$550) which adds a main course and soup on top of the salad bar usual. This, in my opinion, can feed at least 2 people. The main courses are bland at best. The venue is spacious and has a courtyard with seating. It's very quiet on weekdays and I much prefer to come here with my laptop/book rather than Starbucks. We originally appreciated the brand’s philosophy, which is why we became members and visited regularly—not only dining in, but also buying handmade bread to take home. However, this experience has made us decide not to return. The cost-performance ratio is low, and the service quality needs improvement.
If simply bringing the main course to the table is considered “service,” then the staff definitely need more training. In particular, the employee responsible for serving bread had a very careless attitude. Please remember—you’re in the...
Read moreIt was a family reunion but with many people(11adults and 5kids)in our reservation, we felt the entrance was tight and the route was crammed from the grocery area to their restaurant. We have to go through their cashier area from the grocery to the restaurant area. Tables were next to the buffet bar and the line was long with people staring at our table while in line for the salad bar. Food quality was fair but less selections than similar restaurants. Only thing I would rate higher would be their service. Waitresses were patient and polite,...
