The locals love everything Japanese, specially this place, so you're advised to download Kura Sushi's app and make an online appointment, or wait for a while if going straight to the restaurant (they reserve a portion of the tables for the impromptu customers). You can choose what you want from the touchscreen, and the order will arrive later on the upper belt, or you can pick the sushis you want on the lower belt. After eating five dishes, you can dispose of the trays in a slot and see if you win a surprise gift inside a ball, from a machine on top of your table's belts, all automated. I’ve been a loyal customer of this sushi shop for years, but sadly, it has gone from being a standout to an absolute disappointment. The sushi quality is in a steep decline, and it’s painful to see.

In the past, the fish slices were generous—thick, fresh, and elegantly draped over the rice, with the ends sticking up like a proud roof. Now? They’ve reduced it to a thin, flimsy sheet of meat that barely covers the rice block, looking more like a half-hearted afterthought than quality sushi.

It’s a shame to see a place that once valued quality cut so many corners. What used to feel like a premium experience has been reduced to mediocrity. I don’t know what changed, but this is not the sushi I fell in love with. I won’t be coming back...

It's definitely a fun place to try Japanese food with a little modern touch. I love my sushi with less sauces. But it was really good. The egg pudding isn't the best I've had but it's still good. The menu can be accessed in english by scanning the QR code and changing the language. The matcha vanilla is something I'll go back for more! You might have to wait longer if you don't have...
