I came in here last week for respite from the rain storm, and I was definitely in the mood for a hot soup. Sanuki is a local joint, and it does provide a good bowl of udon for the price. It's conveniently accessible from two MRT lines so you don't have to find parking. The udon noodles are not handmade, but that's not a deal breaker. The noodles were cooked to my liking, offering enough bite and spring, while still being able to absorb the broth. The broth was hearty and rich, with the right amount of saltiness. I ordered their most popular udon bowl, which came with pieces of Japanese fried chicken, pork, scallions, and other condiments. Food was great, price was relevant. Start around 180. But they sell the small plate that quite cheep around 80nt if hou want to try many of the food. Here they specialize on udon. But that day non of us try to get udon. We want to try other things. Very sorry not giving review of the signiture food. Tonkatsu don is great. Thick pork and crispy skin coated with egg. Karage don is so so. I dont really like the teriyaki sauce on top. Curry was ok, nothing special. Cold soba is amazing. I like the texture, not tok soft, good soy sauce and mirin combination.
