Restaurant Pinecone — Restaurant in Songshan District

I found this place online and thought I'd give it a try. When I entered, it looked like the pictures. Nice classy place and the staff were well dressed and well mannered.

However, while I was waiting for my food I observed my waiter loitering near the kitchen. He appeared to be rubbing his crotch in an obscene manner and I could not help but stare at him because I was so shocked. He continued at this for more a few seconds before stopping and sniffing(!) his hand.

I felt too shy to mention anything, and after he'd brought me my food i couldn't get this awful dirty image out of my head. I could not even touch my meal and quickly paid and left. Absolutely...

I have to say the place is really beautiful and wait staff were very diligent in refilling our water glasses.

The salad was vibrant and fresh, we were told we could ask for more salad dressing if we needed to, very generous.

Their handmade pasta was more on the springy chewy side. Funny they used fresh herbs to garnish the pasta, but the pasta dish itself didn’t have fresh herbs incorporated in the sauce or the bacon or anything. What a waste. I feel sorry for the rosemary, so I sprinkled it over the...

A neighborhood restaurant with rustic decor, kind has a unique feel. Good services. The prices are in the mid range. We ordered a fried chicken salad and a scallops risottos.
