廚異料理牛排 — Restaurant in Taichung

Dunno how people can speak highly of the food here, because the "cheaper" options, including the duck leg, the duck breast and the lamb rack were all a solid disappointment. The lamb was way overcooked and unseasoned, the duck breast was cooked to f and tasted like sausage. Why does a duck breast taste like sausage and have absolutely zero duck flavor? It was super firm and dry.

The only mildly acceptable dish was the surf and turf, but again, the steak was well above the requested medium temp. Maybe local people think red meat must be cooked to well-done too?

Not sure about the concept behind the interior design either. The outside looks like a diner, meanwhile there is classical music being played inside, whereas the plating and the utensils are modern.

겉으로 보면 골동품 파는 가게 처럼 보이지만 쓰여있는건 스테이크 집. 에피타이저부터 디저트까지 만족스러운 식사였다. 싼 고기의 가격이 400원대에서 부터 비싸게는 1000원대를 넘는 가격대라 겉모습의 작은 가게를 생각하고 들어오기엔 살짝은 부담되는 가격. 전반적으로 가게의 분위기는 엔티크한 골동품이나 장신구를 팔것 같다. 고기의 식감과 육질은 종류에 따라서 다르지만, 전반적인 고기의 질이 여느 스테이크 집보다 훨씬 좋았다. 아쉽지만 스프 사진이 빠졌다. 스프는 일반적으로 두종륙가 있고 그때 그때 다르다. 디저트는 크림브륄레와 아이스크림 두종류가 같이 나온다. 조용조용한 분위기에 천천히...
