There is a large enough salad buffet that has a decent variety of options for an additional fee of 99NTD if you buy a meal (the cheapest meal is around the 550 NTD mark) however, if you do not buy the meal, but want to eat only the salad buffet station (complete with infinite Hagen Daaz and Nescafé coffee refills) then it will cost 400 Ntd and not 99. Therefore, make sure you have a big appetite before coming here so you can get your money's worth or you may feel it is a bit expensive. As I made sure to take advantage of the buffet and ice cream station I felt what I paid was ok. The burger tastes alright. It comes in a type of savoury gravy and you can add as many bowls of rice as you wish.
Overall, more of a 3.5 than a 4 but it gets the 3 stars due to the 10% service charge which is becoming more and more common and nobody informs you about it before you are seated. Not only that but the staff tell you please order via QR code. So what is the extra "service" we are paying the staff for that isn't covered by their base salary and job description which is surely to bring the plates to the customer and that's it? Next there will be a "staff members got out of bed and put on their uniform the correct way bonus charge" of 5%. I'm joking but it wouldn't surprise me the way companies are becoming more and...

The specialty here is wagyu beef, so expect to pay a premium because the portions are really SMALL! And the salad bar has very limited options... you would be better off eating at the buffet rather than selecting their $899 or $999 dishes if you want to leave on a full stomach.
We came on a weekend and it was one of the few places that didnt have a wait around 11am (lalaport opens at 1030am on wknds and the better restaurants are all packed within 30mins...). We figured we'd check it out and hopefully add another restaurant to our list of regulars, but instead we left a bit disappointed.
The wagyu beef itself was good... I ordered the $899 "must order" beef plate and my wife ordered the $599 wagyu hamburger patty. Despite chunks of beef fat on my thin steak slices, the steak was pretty flavorful. And my wife's wagyu patty was packed with flavor... but definitely not worth the price.
So dont come with high expectations! And definitely don't come hungry! You might enjoy the setting and environment (as well as the unlimited Haagen Dazs ice cream as part of the salad bar) but you might not enjoy the price you paid...
Read moreHigh quality salad bar. Had the curry and the meat was okay, but for $600 it's too pricey. Most people would also go for the salad bar option which is another $100. However, if you just want the salad bar only, it's $400, which isn't bad for what you get since the items were of decent quality. The only draw back of the salad bar was that all the items were cold dishes. Nonetheless, this is a decent choice if you want higher quality salad bar vs the other salad bars found in other restaurants at Lalaport. Notice the quinoa and...
