Pepper Lunch Express 胡椒廚房 - Lalaport台中店 — Restaurant in Taichung

This is a failed restaurant. Foods are generally expensive, because the portions are very parsimony. We were not full after the meal and it is evidently not enough for a general adult male, unless you spend much more, which has a very low price/quality ratio.

Moreover, although it smelled awesome, it tasted just only salty, dry, greasy and nothing special, which was not as wonderful as what you would expect.

After considering overall quality, price, service , and portion, it isn't a patch on general economic and normal restaurants. If you like foods cooked by iron griddle it is recommended for Teppanyaki instead of this one. If you like meats grilled by iron griddle, steakhouses are better choice for you. If you like fried rice, just go to any normal restaurant which sells cheaper Chinese fried rice. It is not like fried rice at all, because it is just a blend of rice and everything together, which lacks the delicious flavour of fried rice.

In conclusion, it is highly recommended for smelling their foods but not recommended for buying them. It is not necessary and not worth spending much more on such expensive meals.

氛圍/設施：百貨美食櫃位、連鎖餐飲品牌 特色：胡椒飯、注脂肉品、原塊牛肉 位於臺中東區 Lalaport北館五樓美食街的連鎖餐飲品牌，主打商品是胡椒飯，價位在200-300左右。 經過時被鐵板的香氣給吸引，加上假日人潮這個攤位排隊最長。想說應該是不會差到哪去。所以點了一份原塊澳洲沙朗牛排餐。點餐速度還滿快的，轉頭就發現大排長龍。更加堅定了我對餐點的信心。 取餐後回到位置上的小朋友說，這不是胡椒廚房嗎？內心戈登一下，問說很有名嗎？很多百貨公司都有啊！小孩會說。心想可能是我太少吃美食街了！所以對我來說這是第一次吃，。我再問說：好吃嗎？普通，飯類應該會好點。小孩回。 結束這一輪的鄉野調查後，看了看餐點。看起來很日式牛排的吃法，牛排肉搭配醬汁、白飯、味增湯。還有少的可以的配菜。 味增湯跟白飯的表現都算是不錯，味增湯看起來清淡但是味道是偏鹹的，白飯不會軟爛。有彈性。煎蛋是自費的，就一顆正常的蛋。蔬菜沒什麼調味可以沾著店家提供的醬汁食用。 最後牛排的部分，只能以味如嚼蠟來形容。味道沒有太出色，滿滿的胡椒味道。第一次吃到沙朗牛排口感這麼像牛肉乾，可以比一些牛肉乾大廠口感還硬。其他就不用再多加形容。可以很好的鍛鍊咀嚼肌。果然有如小孩所說我應該先選招牌的胡椒飯試試看。

我是13號中午去吃的 看到大家對於那貴死人的牛排看法 看來我不是第一個!!!

點餐到拿到大約50分鐘(雖然店員有告知會等30分鐘以上) 所以這部份我不多說什麼

重點是那牛排 真的真的真的很不行

厚薄度完全跟圖片上不一樣 與其說不如夜市牛排比他也還要好吃也還要厚

比牛排還要薄 真的很誇張

撇掉視覺部分再來到了 口感部分:

不得不說, 有夠難吃 有夠硬 根本肉乾

拿到位置上插起第一塊發現黏在板子上了 我就趕快把全部其他的肉趕快差起來放在玉米上面但還是一樣的失敗

不要說因為是鐵板關係, 我再拿到餐前10分鐘就走到店前面等 所以沒有拖延取餐的問題

拿到的肉根本是用肉乾形容(很重要說第二次) 我真的質疑裡面煮餐人員是不是根本忘記這塊牛排了讓他直接完全over cook 然後依然呈現上來

如果評論星星可以給0.5 我絕對給0.5 因為 價格高/圖文很不符(肉的部分)/口感差

完全打破了對他的印象 希望這只是失誤 但看到其他評論者 我想...
