Went to Shui Xiang Bistro today with friends, and honestly, every dish blew us away. Nothing disappointed!
First, the White Wine Garlic Clam Pasta — the sauce and seafood paired perfectly. The clams were fresh and juicy, and the garlic was just right, enhancing the flavors without overpowering them.
The Jumbo Prawns + Hokkaido Scallops were like a piece of art — the prawn was springy, the scallop sweet, and the aged vinegar added amazing depth. You can really tell the chef put heart into this.
Then came the Marseille Seafood Clear Soup — so rich and sweet, you could taste the hours it took to make. Pure comfort in a bowl.
The Marseille Coconut Risotto had the perfect coconut aroma, packed with seafood, and the rice texture was spot on. Super satisfying.
The Spicy Mouthwatering Chicken with Century Egg Pasta — such a creative combo! I thought century egg and pasta might be weird, but it totally worked. The heat was just enough to kick up the flavor.
The Molten Cheese Bread was a must-order. That gooey, flowing cheese was so satisfying — made my artist’s heart happy! Finished off with a Hot Americano, the perfect ending to a great meal.

FOOD: My friend and I ordered oysters 🦪 as appetizers, 2 pastas (Clam and Mushroom), a salmon kale salad and Canelee as dessert. OYSTERS: They were good, even though it was deep fried. We still can feel the taste. SALAD: The salmon was fresh. But I guess it was a lot of lettuce. CLAM PASTA: My friend liked it. I didn’t try it. MUSHROOM PASTA: For me, nothing special. And the sauce was not good. It could be stronger and ticker. And I think Spaghetti too simple. It would be better if they can offer other kind of pasta. CANELEE: They serve with 3 different flavours. All of them good. Something that I didn’t like was they were frozen. I generally eat Canelee still hot direct from the oven. They also provide free bread with cheese. Bread just simple one.
MENU: They have English and many pictures which help us to decide the meal. Also some suggestions.
SERVICE: Excellent service. They were really kind, serving lemon water and controlling the plates arrangements.

I have tried a few dishes and only the creamy scallop pasta taste good to me. I was really looking forward to the bread with cheese, but it turned out a bit disappointed. Not as impressive as I expected. The beef tender pasta is the most disappointing dish in the day. There wasn't tender but just beef, and they way it cooked was not even good. Overall, too overpriced based on the food quality and the tastes. You mostly pay for the vibe and fancy decorations. I wouldn't say it's worth the price. Personally, I wouldn't visit again...
