I was told Taichung has the highest coffee shop density. I don't know for use, but I did run into many coffee shops during my stay.

Mezamashi is a neighborhood cafe. They sell light lunch and beverages. I order a medium roster Amaericano and try to get some relaxing time. The environment is quite bright and clean. I did enjoy the time sitting here, but the coffee is to be desired. For less than half of the price you can enjoy a nicer one at any 7-11 or Family Marts. Despite my disappointment, it is a nice afternoon hangout. If you are not picky about...

One of my favorite brunch place in Taichung. Kind of Japanese touch to its cuisine, salad is always refreshing. Baked French bread with spicy fish eggs tasted really unique. Coffee and juices come with decent portion. More seats at the upper floor. You could enjoy a cozy sunny...
