TASTy西堤牛排台中米平方店 — Restaurant in Taichung

I came with my family to celebrate Mother’s Day. The staff informed us to arrive earlier bc of the busy weekend. We arrived early and saw many people already waiting. They provided quick and good services, but the food was just fine. There are two major complaints: 1) We waited so long for the second-load bread, and they claimed it was because it was freshly baked. However, it was not hot when they were served. 2) We also waited so long for the entree, specifically the FISH & CHICKEN; it was long enough that the groups who arrived at the same time already finished their sets and left. I have to say it was a disaster. The food was not hot, and the quality was so-so. Checking out also took some time. Overall, I would not say no to returning, but I would avoid the food I have...

Ate here Sunday, March 31. Overall a great experience with good food and very polite, friendly staff. Unfortunately the clerk working the counter (a young woman with glasses) was quite rude. My girlfriend and I were waiting in line to pay, but the clerk served Taiwanese guests who arrived at the desk after we did, even though we were waiting for several minutes and she obviously saw us standing there. The food at the restaurant was absolutely delicious, with flavors that exceeded my expectations. The staff were exceptionally friendly, attentive, and made the dining experience even more enjoyable.
