A great Taiwanese local restaurant especially milky fish dishes. There is no aircon so it can be hot during day time. The prices are very good so it is kind of a budget restaurant and the seating is quite crowded. There is also a long queue for takeaway options. The porridge shop is also very popular and great for a quick bite! In addition, there are plenty of other Taiwanese dishes you can enjoy but it may take a bit longer to cook. Cash seems to be preferred and I am not sure whether you can pay by credit card / debit card, so...

Really liked the soup with fish balls. Egg was fully precooked so that was not worth the money. Dough sticks with gravy were OK. Just wish it was fresher/hotter. Fried fish was delicious but watch out for tiny bones!

Long line no matter what time of day it is even close to closing time when I went. But the line moved quickly since everyone usually only stays for 15-20min at most and you can usually find a spot to share with another patron...

Solid place! Not sure how English friendly. Everything is in Chinese and I had a local friend help order. Had some solid fish skin soup and other things. Best part about this place was at 130pm it was not busy at all. So plan food accordingly and come then, and you’ll get food quickly and deliciously! Also it’s right along the river so it’s nice and cool along with being a beautiful location. I recommend this to any traveler...
