It was starting to get warm as the day progressed and I have been walking around the Anping district for a bit and in need of a rest stop. This dessert shop was a saviour.

The shop's signature tofu dessert was amazing. Not ice cold, but just nicely chilled enough for you to still enjoy the flavors of the ingredients that had gone into the dessert. I especially loved the clear jelly liked...

This douhua is undoubtedly one of the best I've had in taiwan. Their signature dou hua with fresh milk, red beans, jelly and tang yuan is a wonderful mix of ingredients that is perfectly balanced between flavor and texture. And to be honest, the dou hua is so smooth it could stand alone as its own dish.
