Waited an hour to get into this place, it was definitely not worth the wait. Luckily there's a Family Mart on the opposite side to wait there
I've played with capybaras before and they are not at all fun to pet. Their hair is like a broom. Also you are not allowed to feed them so it's really boring. (Yes I got scolded for feeding them) I really wanted to play with the baby capybaras but their work shift was already over by the time I got to get inside 😔😔😔 really felt like it was a waste of time coming here
Their free drinks gave me diarrhea. I was with 4 other friends and they all got a bad stomach too.
The tarts are highly overpriced. Horribly designed too. I don't understand what's the use of providing forks if they can't even dent the outer layer. The outer layer is a rock hard biscuit. In the end I just picked it up with my hand and put it into my mouth.
To sum it all up, if you've played with capybaras before, this place is not at all worth waiting for. Only visit if you really want to see a capybara, I'm actually not aware if there are other places with capybaras like the farms in Yilan. If there is, then just avoid this place.
Edit : changed it to a 3⭐ review since the owner seems very polite 😆😆😆 老闆, I request you to change the menu to something like maybe pastries, the tarts are very hard so it's not easy to break it into small pieces and too large to fit in the mouth too. Hope for your...
Read moreVisit this place if you’d like to be ripped off lol The rules are ridiculously taking advantage of customers and staff are unfriendly. Most pathetically, it’s obvious that all their business philosophy is “be quiet and pay what we provide you otherwise you’re ruining our effort to our business”. There’s no comfort in this place. You’ll be having what they provide you to pay for in a very narrow space. You will be waiting outside for ages in the heat and expecting to enjoy some relaxing time after they call your number. You’ll be asked to pick at least one of the tarts they provide you and make sure that the total is above the min spend which is $200/head. Even all they provide at the time is not what you’d like to pay for and eat, apparently you just will have to or they ask you to get out. They only offer 2 types of teas in the store. However, you’ll expect them to tell you to drink another one if one of them has run out. So you won’t have any choices but be forced to drink the one that is not ur preference. The staff literally will say “just drink another one” to you. Oh and you will only have 1 chance to get to see the capybaras.
Surely no need to go to this place and experience their worst attitude. Btw it’s not kids friendly either.
Just FYI to whoever is thinking of going. Maybe dun even waste...
Read moreCan the staff please use some machine oil to fix the fence that squeaks so terribly loudly!? It's really simple, just use WD-40. Thank you! Aside from that, it's a pretty cool place but I was a little concerned that there isn't enough living space for the Capybaras that are now very large indeed. I hope they are not suffering from being in a small space. But of course it's hard not to enjoy this amazing experience with the animals. We walked in at 12:00 on a weekday and there was no line. The tarts were really tasty but the crust was too firm. I loved the cute plates! I recommend the strawberry tart (260 TWD) but it seems to sell out fast. You have to pay a minimum of 200 TWD and you get one entrance (no time limit) to pet the animals (it's a separate space from the eating area with a very squeaky gate in the middle). The Capybaras were super cute and chill. The Cafe's staff did not seem happy and...
