One of the best cocktail lounge experiences I've had in my life. My wife and I along with my two cousins who live in Taipei really enjoyed our visit to Silver Lining. We were able to reserve a booth ahead of time for a Friday night at 9pm - when we arrived we were seated promptly. The bartenders were super friendly and helpful in helping us feel comfortable with the menu, recommending a few of their favorite cocktails to order. The drinks are dangerously good - the seasonal cocktails are truly reflective of the fruit mentioned, super tasty, and what makes them dangerous is that you couldn't really taste the alcohol (but definitely felt them later on haha).
Food-wise we really enjoyed the popcorn chicken and the Taiwanese styled fries, and would have easily ordered more food to try if we hadn't already eaten a big dinner.
The overall aesthetics of the place is on point. It's just right - not too dark or too bright, and I could have easily stayed here for many hours if it wasn't for the fact that I had to leave for my flight the next day (we were here for about and hour and a half)
Leila and Chris - the two co-founders of the place - were super friendly, and even came by to chat with us for a little bit which was super awesome. It was really cool to hear their background (Chris is originally from Canada) and how the cocktail bar came to be during the pandemic - and survived.
Highly recommend anyone who visits Taipei to make...
Read moreWow. I can’t say enough good things about Silver Lining. I came to Taipei on a mission to find good cocktails and this place blew all of the main stays out of the water. The bartenders spoke to me so intelligently and were able to perfectly suggest drinks that fit my palate. I enjoyed Silver Lining more than AHA Saloon and Public house and would rank them on par with Induldge, if not slightly higher. Their execution is too notch.
If you are passionate about cocktails, you can do no better than Silver Lining. It may have been my favorite...
Read moreWas on a trip to Taipei and randomly found this bar on Google map, nearby our accommodation and this place has turned out to be our fav bar in Taipei! We went 3 times in 5 days, trying out their drinks but couldn’t decide which is our favourite because all had their own uniqueness and taste. The flavour pairing were spot on.
Food and snacks were amazing, I personally had their ramen during that 3 visits. Their fried chicken soft bone was excellently done, crispy and crunchy.
Would recommend to anyone...
