ATITHI INDIAN CUISINE (Fuxing Branch) is hands down the best Indian food we've had in Taiwan. The restaurant is clean and hygienic, with soft, comfortable seating. A TV playing Indian music to set the atmosphere.

The service is always very friendly and attentive. The curry here is thick, rich, and full of flavor (never watery like at some other places). If you order a non-vegetarian curry you actually get a good amount of meat too. The naan is also excellent (For example, the cheese naan is packed with melted, tasty cheese).

We often come for dinner and usually order the butter chicken and the saagwala gosht (spinach lamb)—both are consistently delicious. The lunch specials are also a great deal if you're coming earlier in the day.

The only downside is that during busy hours, food can take up to 30 minutes to arrive, but it's well worth the wait. Highly...

The new Atithi fuxing branch serves the purpose of the cool vibe with a delicious dining experience on the busy streets of Taipei. The ambience is just amazing and gives the feeling of a modern and ethnic blend of India.

One thing I like the most of Atithi is the consistency in the authentic food taste which never disappoints your taste buds! Especially with the new additions into their menu along with South Indian cuisine, now they have a wide range of food palette for the food lovers!

Came to this restaurant to see how Indian food is in Taiwan, and selected this restaurant given its high rating on Google. I like to try out Indian food in different countries, sometimes being pleasantly surprised (as in Japan), but unfortunately this was not the case. The food was quite bland and disappointing. The service was also nothing to write home about, as the servers seemed more interested in the cricket match on TV than the customers in the restaurant. I’ll stick to Taiwanese food in Taiwan...
