I was super happy to find this place after having a fairly poor meal across the way.

This is a nice place where comfortable seating is available. The staff are attentive (if a bit rushed, perhaps since clients have flights to catch).

The food was marked up due to being in an airport, but the taste and quality were really good! I had the beef short ribs. Very nice presentation, really beautiful plating. The cookery was right on (medium rare to medium). I also ordered a dessert and gin and tonic. The menu was actually fairly extensive. You could observe the kitchen staff at work.

One thing I'm not so found of is there requirement to scan a QR code to order food. In fact, there were three to four servers that were just standing around the whole time I was there. I'm not sure if anyone would be available to answer questions about the menu.

Overall, it's worth the walk from...

Coming to Taipei and not eating the famous beef noodles is like not having visited the city! My schedule was really tight in my two day visit and I thought I would miss the taste and flavourful Taiwanese beef noodles. Thank God I chanced upon this eatery at Terminal One called the Bistro D. The noodles, the sliced beef (unlike in most places where they use chunky beef), tasty soup and the condiments were simply delicious! Presumably this eatery may not be well known but the quality matches some of the overly rated ones in the city. I was also greeted by a lovely waitress who happens to be Thai National having a Chinese name 月愛元. Well done Bistro D I’m sure one day you’ll be up on the...

My meal was 10/10 AMAZING here and it was actually one of the top meals of my Taiwan trip, LOL! Crazy to say because this is at an airport as well.

I ordered the Pan Seared Boneless Short Ribs Donburi and it was mouthwatering, tender, and flavor with every bite. I literally devoured my bowl faster than my two friends who ordered before me 😂🤪 My meal was 530 (approximately $18.66 USD).

They also have a cool “popping boba cocktails” menu that I would have explored if I had more time at the airport.

I would definitely dine here again!!! Service was amazing as well. Loved my experience here and it definitely has an elevated type of dining feel compared to the...
