The food was ok but nothing to shout about. We got the fresh seaprawn that costs 1500 ntd for 4 prawns and cooked with minced garlic. It is surrounded with what looked like squid but we soon found out it is just udon noodle. This dish is not bad but i seriously dont see what is so special about the prawns. Taste the same as normal prawns and for this price for 4 prawns, i think u can get normal one for 350ntd. We got a fish not the one in the tank coz its like 2000ntd for one. And they recommend to half steam and half soup. I suggest just stick to steam. The fish soup literally tastes like water with ginger. No flavour and not nice. We are not used to eating water lily vegetables so i cant comment. The small chicken dish we ordered is a cold dish. We were going to get a live crab but decided against when they told us 1 crab- its tiny abt 400-500gm cost abt 2000ntd! By singapore standard this is way too expensive for this size. Our meal cost us almost 3000ntd largely because of the prawn -1500ntd and fish 800ntd. They dont accept card so make sure u have lots of cash! I dont think the food is fantastic but the review was 4.9. That's when i realise it is because they offer to give u some dried plum snack if u give them 5 stars on the review! We recently dined at this restaurant and had a thoroughly enjoyable experience. Our group consisted of five people, including some vegetarians, so we made a special request for certain dishes to be prepared without egg and meat. This is our first time at the restaurant and I had very high expectations for this resturant as they are so many wonderful reviews of this resturant and we decided to give it a try. When we got in the resturant, we waited more than 2 HOURS for our food. We addressed them and they ONLY gave us 2 SMALL dishes of the many we ordered. It turns out, they put our order receipt in a different pile which resulted in the chef not seeing our order. After we addressed their mistake, they refused to provide reasonable accommodations for us and still left us waiting with ONLY 2 small dishes that were alright and not super great. After those dishes, we still waited another 15 minutes where NOTHING else came out. Therefore, we decided to leave.
