The Bread & Butter Bakery — Restaurant in Toucheng Township

One of our friend has been to this restaurant before and she recommended us to come here to try the brunch, so my friends and I decided to choose a free day to visit this restaurant together. After I had brunch here, I considered that there was nothing make me feel disappointed. The following contents are the reasons that make me feel satisfied with the restaurant. (1) The staff was really friendly and gave us a good recommendation while ordering the meal. For example, my friends and I are totally four people and all of us are girls. In the beginning, we decided to order four meals but the staff told us that four meals would be too much for four of us. Therefore, we changed into ordering three meals and the portions were suitable for us. (2) The food are really delicious, we ordered three different type of meal and all of them tasted good. I would like to recommend the bread, especially because all of us like the meal which had breads the most. If you come to this restaurant, you must try it. (3) The price is reasonable because every meal’s portion is enough for one person even it would be too much. My friend and l all felt full after finishing the meal. (4) The atmosphere, decoration and environment of this restaurant were really good which made me feel comfortable and relaxing. Besides, people can smell the aroma of bread while staying in the restaurant. The restaurant is suitable for people to have a leisure time with their friends, family or boyfriend/girlfriend. However, there is one factor would be this restaurant’s disadvantage. The restaurant’s space is a little bit too small so the seats would be limited. If a lot of customers came here at the same time, the seats would be not enough. Therefore, I would recommend visitors can have a reservation before came here. All in all, I would say this restaurant is worth to visit, and I will come back to enjoy the delicious food and relaxing...

People have to know how to eat the bread that sell from here with right way. It's really awesome and taste so good, if you want more flavor, you can eat with some good butter or extra virgin olive oil.

We came here 3 times for brunch and bought the bread here in this lunar new year, they were kindly introduced their idea and history about this store even they were busy these few days, I really enjoyed.

When we are talking about the service, the stuff is busy to handle the customers eating there over ten at same time, even we were just sitting there and waiting the meal, but I have to say, the good meal worth to wait for a while. Be patients.

Let's talk about the food, Masala curry taste good with a little spicy, and the Masala tea rarely appear in Yi-Lan, if you want to eat curry different to Japanese flavor, recommend come here and take a chance to try with an open mind, you'll discover a new imagine here. By the way, it's made without meats.

The sandwiches are also a good choice to enjoy, I feel easy to fill till the time to have next meal, if you can eat much more, you can order a cup of coffee or drink, even a piece of cake. Don't miss this store, you have to learn some new and try.

The food wasn't bad but the staff needs training in caring for their customers. I was there today and overheard a customer ask if she could get a knife or have someone cut her sandwich, she had sat there for a minute looking for someone to ask and finally scooted up in her seat asking the cashier. The cashier couldn't hear her and walked around the pie case and about halfway to where the girl and her friend were sitting. As she heard the request, she pointed back behind herself and to her right and blurted out something to the effect of the knives are right there, you can help yourself to one. She was serious too, as she completed her about face and marched back to her cashier's station. Having been in the restaurant business for many years, my jaw almost dropped to the floor, luckily l was sitting down and it was stopped by my lap.
