An Honest Review – December 1st Reservation (5:30 PM)
I want to share my experience candidly, with the hope of providing constructive feedback.
I made a reservation for the main store, but upon arrival, it was packed. The staff redirected us to a secondary location a block away. Unfortunately, the difference between the two spaces was striking and disappointing.
First Impressions: The atmosphere at the second location was uninviting, neglected, and unclean. A staff member, who appeared to be eating fried food, escorted us to our seats while still chewing.
The space immediately felt unkempt. The menus were greasy and oily, and the table near the door where we sat was dirty, with crumbs left on the chairs. Shockingly, we found rat feces and cockroach droppings inside the table drawer. The room was empty, with no air conditioning, airflow, or background music, making the environment even more uncomfortable.
The bathroom on the second floor was filthy, lacked hand soap, and had urine on the toilet seat. It was poorly maintained and left a terrible impression.
Self-Service Area: The self-serve condiment and utensil station added to the unhygienic experience. Items like scallions were uncovered and visibly browning, and I had to use a flashlight to check the pickled radish for bugs or droppings. Utensils were haphazardly mixed, with chopsticks turned upside down and exposed. This area felt completely unsanitary and mismanaged.
The Food: Despite the poor conditions, we ordered two BBQ items and a hotpot. While the service was fast, the food quality was highly disappointing.
For a yakiniku/BBQ restaurant, the execution needs significant improvement. The meat arrived on a cold metal plate, drenched in liquid, and instead of grilling, it steamed in its own marinade. This prevented the proper Maillard reaction, resulting in boiled, flavorless meat.
We ordered matsutake pork and pork shoulder. While the matsutake pork was acceptable, the pork shoulder tasted off, as if it had not been stored properly. Concerned about food safety, we decided not to let our children eat it.
The hotpot was decent for its price but didn’t stand out in any way.
Summary: • Hygiene: The environment was severely unhygienic, from the dining area to the restroom and condiment station. • Food Quality: Poor, with questionable freshness and improper cooking techniques. • Service: Staff lacked professionalism and training.
While the main location appears popular, it’s clear that the secondary store requires urgent improvements. Management needs to address cleanliness, staff training, and pest control immediately. Affordable dining does not need to equate to substandard or dirty conditions.
This was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had in Taiwan. Additionally, the food presentation between the main and secondary stores is shockingly different. It’s unclear what’s going on, but this inconsistency needs to be addressed...
Read more今日用餐時,已事先預訂,到現場時被告知說要到「斜對面」的分店去,走到本店店員說的位子進去後,又被告知是在這間分店的隔壁。 終於到了隔壁後,裡面光線相當昏暗,一個人也沒有,放客人獨自摸索環境,約莫2-3分鐘後店員才慢慢的走進來放食材,也沒告訴我們要坐哪裡,一切都是要自己開口問。 「請問位子是坐哪裡都可以嗎?」店員才想起來這邊有客人要帶位,還等了一會兒,丟一張菜單什麼話沒說就要離開,還是我們攔下來告訴店員我們第一次來這邊用餐才有相當簡單的介紹。 終於點完餐後,不知道要把菜單給誰,因為店裡沒有店員,還要去隔壁分店詢問後再回來,店員才會再出現一下子,並且店員告知:我出餐會比較慢喔。因為只有我一個人上班。 可以,我們說沒關係。 離席去拿筷子,友人發現筷子桶裡爬出蟑螂,告知店員,店員立刻拿去洗(簡單的用水沖一沖)並且給我一個瀝水籃(還濕濕的)湯匙和筷子。說這些洗好的可以先用,每一雙筷子我拿起來還需要再擦拭過並且油油的,甚至最上面的湯匙還殘餘飯粒,在座的每位客人都有看到。 現場的飲料有三個飲料桶:水、酸梅汁及柳橙汁,杯子要自己開口才知道哪裡可以拿、醬油和辣椒也是要跟店員開口才拿出來。 店員說:因為我昨天沒上班所以不知道他們放哪裡了。 只能說自助區真的相當的空曠,要什麼沒有什麼,需要什麼要自己去開口問才有。 直到空氣中飄下一隻飛蛾,要反應的時候店員又、不、在,友人拿去隔壁,湯匙馬上被抽走,然後被告知隔壁賣的東西不一樣,請不要一直過來^_^ 當點的東西都上來後我以為可以好好吃飯了,肉烤沒多久,剛好瓦斯沒有了。 店員又不在,只能再去隔壁請人(⁎⁍̴̛ᴗ⁍̴̛⁎) 店員一來就說沒火可能是冷氣開太強,後來才承認說是瓦斯沒了。我們趁店員換瓦斯的同時,反應衛生問題,店員表示:餐廳有蟑螂很正常,(接著看看天花板),而且我不知道這邊有飛蛾欸。(???)然後友人詢問是否有負責人,店員回答:喔我們老闆今天不在。 真的謝謝,此時我已經超想離開,但不想掃了朋友的興。 過程中,友人加點海苔飯,需要二次提醒店員才想起來送上。 終於要結帳的時候,該店的店員又~不在。 只能又去隔壁請人囉,最後幫我們結帳的是隔壁的店員,我們提及衛生問題,該店員的答覆是:因為我不是顧這間店的我不清楚ㄟ。 友人詢問是否有發票,他們也直接說沒有,不好意思喔。 今天已經不知道聽了幾次「不好意思喔~」 聽到最後已經不知道要原諒什麼了。 東西好不好吃已經是其次,感覺花錢來找罪受。 從頭到尾並沒有想要找店員麻煩,也是只想請店員據實以告上級該店衛生問題,還有員工職訓的部分,難道同一個餐廳上班,卻因為不是同一空間就可以把責任推來推去嗎?
花了一些時間把今天的體驗打出來,字句絕無虛言,我是一個好評論一定會寫出來的人,也沒有那麼無聊無緣無故要去黑一間店,這個店家我真的完全寫不出什麼優點,只希望店家看到可以改善一下⋯因為這次用餐體驗真的是我有史以來最糟糕的一次,滿懷期待的挑好餐廳要幫友人慶生,沒想到會是這種感受。 雖然打著平價的名號,但我不認為這樣服務品...
