What a fantastic tea house! I came here around midday on a Sunday, and I was the only one here (unlike at a lot of the tea houses closer to the gondola station, which were rammed). The whole visit was extremely peaceful and the staff were very friendly and patient. He used Google translate to explain how to prep the teapot and pour the tea properly.

I ordered some tea and veggie xiao long bao. This came to NTD570, which seems expensive, until you realise that you get a whole tea caddy, so any tea you don't use there and then, you can take home with you. For that price, it's cheaper than most tea you'll find in the city, and it's such good quality.

This is a must visit if you're in Taipei! When you're travelling up, I'd recommend getting the BR15 bus from the Taipei Zoo station. This is only takes about 20 minutes, and if you get off at either the tea promotion centre or the stop after, you'll have a much shorter walk to the tea house. The bus is only one way, so you will have to walk back, but the queue for the gondola is much shorter on the way down.

As some other reviews said, the tea house is a little tricky to find, but I've added some pictures that will help you find it. Look for the red arch, go through, and then when the path divides, go uphill (the path on the right) and...

It was quite a task trying to locate the entrance to this tea house. Apparently it shares the same entrance with Yao Yue. Then you go up the path rather than down.

Anyway, once you’ve found the tea house, it was a breeze engaging with the owner (also a tea farmer?). He was easy to talk to and talked us through the tea varieties he had. Mind you this is a completely vegetarian place, so even the soup dumplings were vegetarian, which was quite a surprise as it tasted just as good as the pork xiaolongbao in Din Tai Fung!

It was pouring on our way there and so when we sat down, there weren’t many mosquitoes, which was a blessing. When the rain stopped though, they came out and attacked us relentlessly. So be sure to carry a repellent if you’re hoping to sit in an...

This is the best tea I have ever tasted. It warms me up, feel uplifted, and relaxed. I am Japanese and this tea fits my body best. Japanese green tea was too cool for me and I have always looked for the tea for me and I finally found it here and am so happy. I highly recommend this tea to any spiritual seeker. Thank you so much for making the tea. I am...
