🏞️Visit: Our party of 2 visited on a Thursday at around 4pm. It is a comfortable 15 min walk from the Maokong Gondola Station, with a small staircase leading down to it from the main road. I would recommend putting up a larger sign at the main road.

🍜Food: We ordered a pot of Tikuanyin Tea, mocha, matcha crepe cake, and 2 bowls of noodles. Each item cost ~NT180.

💓Favourites: I particularly enjoyed the matcha crepe cake, which had a strong matcha flavour. The noodles were also quite nice, with some tea given for you to mix into the noodles.

🌿Atmosphere: I particularly enjoyed its environment. It has ~20 indoor seats, all spacious and comfortable. It also has some outdoor seating. The decor is warm and inviting.

I would’ve originally given a 4/5 but because of the exterior toilet I have a 3 instead. Starting from the positives, cake was awesome, milk tea was too, if u are the kind that might enjoy tea I would highly recommend it as well. Most of the other stuff are pretty average. There was also a cat, which was pretty cute. However, the toilet experience was absolutely destructive. I could not take a dump without seven different groups mosquitoes biting my butt at the same time. Therefore I have it a 3. Thanks guys!

(Day 2 update) the bite was so bad it’s still on my butt. I am devestated. I love my girlfriend

Chocolate cake and matcha cake was pretty standard. Taste good without too much sweetness taking over its flavor. Texture was quite moisture. We ordered “super spicy noodles.” For me, the flavor was quite strong with all the sour and salty. Well, but CAUTION!!’ you won’t feel any heat in your first bite but the spicy will kick in after a while. So pls don’t add too much additional spicy sauce in the beginning. Wait for a while to see if you are okay with the heat. This place is hidden under the main road so diners will have to go down by stairs to access. Gd design and choice on books. Super chill spot in Maokong, get away from the crowd and enjoy your dessert, coffee and meals in this space. The cafe has a outdoor seating area and smoking area. Inside the cafe there are books, decorations and comic books to read and look at, just like the guting station. If you happened to be in Mao Kong and want to grab light night snack, good coffee and great desserts. This is the place to be!
