I was excited to eat here after hearing about the chef's past accomplishments.
Our party ordered burgers, fries, as well as fried chicken. The hamburger was dressed well with a well-cooked patty, however the flavor was a bit off due to the usage of Taiwanese sweet bread used for the bun.
The fried chicken was really juicy and breading was maybe some of the crispiest I've had in Taipei. I do think the breading could of used more seasoning and brining the chicken would have upped the flavor.
The menu and ordering system was unclear and convoluted. We were looking forward to getting biscuits, but was told by the server only after that it wasn't served at this time. The restaurant was not that full and we became suspicious once we saw the staff were just cleaning and stocking up cups. When we went to ask the staff how long it would take they told us to wait and it took another 8 minutes.
During this wait time they even served another couple of customers who came 30 minutes after us. We were even told that we had limited time to eat when we were seated.

The water, utensil, tissue, and plastic gloves are all self-service, so you have to get them yourself. The fried food was fantastic. The buttermilk fried chicken was juicy and tender inside, and crispy outside.
