Tucked quietly in Taipei is a gem of an omakase restaurant that delivers not only exquisite food but an experience that lingers long after the last course. I had the pleasure of dining here recently to celebrate a dear friend’s birthday, and from start to finish, the evening was nothing short of exceptional.
Most of the ingredients were flown in directly from Japan, and it showed in every bite. Each dish was a masterclass in balance, texture, and presentation; delicate sashimi, rich uni, perfectly seasoned rice, and even a course adorned with a fine mist of edible gold. It was luxurious without being overstated, and every plate felt intentional and artful.
The service was equally impressive. The staff was warm, attentive, and seamlessly present without ever being intrusive. What truly made the evening memorable, though, was when one of the owners came out to personally greet us. His gracious energy and thoughtful words added a personal touch that made our celebration feel seen and appreciated.
This wasn’t just dinner, it was an experience. Refined, intimate, and full of heart. Highly recommend for special occasions or simply when you want to treat yourself to something...
Read moreFood quite okay. Not that bad ( also not that good either) But the service was really horrible. And the atmosphere doesn’t giving the vibe that it supposed to give.
we went here on 7pm Tuesday. and it was full house. So we were a little expected.
but there is only 2 waitress. and I’m not sure if they’re short of staff or what but service was bad. they leave our table full of dishes and tissue (trashed) which is i never experienced this in another Omakase places.
Their Decoration quite good if compared to same price range Omakase. So I guessed that they want to make it look a little more high end or something. but still very far from that.
We don’t eat clamshells. And we requested not to serve clam. But they said the menu is already fix so we can not changed. ( this also i never experienced from another places, another places would willing to change it for you)
From the table you can see their kitchen area and wash dishes area. 🤢
This places giving me mixed feelings. I’ve been to lots of Omakase places This is my worse score i give to...

The creativity was unparalleled. well composed, all the ingredients complementing each other so beautifully & in unexpected ways.
Service was impeccable, and we felt that we were taken care & attended to (detailed explanations of each dish, tea refilled discreetly without being asked, our used tissues towels being removed to keep table clean without being asked, etc.)
Food was served in a timely manner as well, with many of the most interesting ingredients having been prepared in advance (fermented watermelon being one of the most...
