Very busy buffet. Breakfast - omelette cooked to order, ham, cheese, onion, green peppers and some other things. Nice. Fried eggs and scrambled eggs in warming tray . Good coffee machine, breads etc... All the normal English breakfast foods, sausage , bacon etc... with a large range of Asian dishes. All at a warmish temperature.
Went for dinner last night and it was horrendous, nothing was hot. The only edible food was a toasted piece of bread roll with roast beef and mustard . Some of the deserts were great. I don't mind the hustle and bustle of a buffet with 100 other guests but the food has to be good. Sushi was ok. You have to buy beer and wine. Small pieces of Brie cheese are available, very rare in Taiwan. 1300tdw per person. Breakfast was included in our package.
Just had breakfast again, eggs bacon and toast all perfect. You have to ask for salt and pepper. Icecream is a must have, especially the strawberry. Window seat is very pretty but does warm up at 10am. Pulled the rating up to 3 stars after last night.
Recommend breakfast, avoid dinner. Only 2 restaurants in the building and the next restaurants are 20...

2/21-2/22跟朋友(情侶檔)特地開車去慶生,在數月前預約了這次的旅程。 一到酒店真的很開心,從門房接待、迎賓人員、櫃檯人員、甚至是到R樓巧遇餐廳大廚,他也非常親切幫我們開門,過程中超愉悅。晚餐時,我們請衛斯理餐廳協助幫忙慶生唱歌,非常開心,這樣的心情延續到夜間,點了宵夜(銷魂鹹酥雞房內使用需加收20%) 晚上睡前,壽星發現被單破了,房務人員也立刻前來更換。 隔天早餐,我們一樣選在衛斯理自助吧,選在室外用餐,取餐後,我們也立即食用,吃多少取多少,壽星發現生菜上有疑似小強的🐛,我們跟服務員反應,服務員請了陳副理過來,陳副理洋洋灑灑說了一堆(在室外用餐容易有蟲、取餐勿過量⋯、菜區她檢查過沒有其它🐛)我們不帶情緒說了「我們取不多 & 若菜區還有蟲也是⋯」這時陳副理說「我已經道歉過了」就轉身離去!!! 退房時,房務部主管很客氣的一直道歉再三,我們也向她表達了早餐事件。填了問券表請餐飲主管聯繫,過不了多久,阮(經理)打來,也是說了一些,其中她表達陳副理平常也是很多人讚賞,我:跟這次事件有什麼關係?另外,我不知道阮經理這通電話要表達的重點還有的意義在哪。心想,再跟她通話下去,也是耽誤彼此時間。
我的本意不是要東西,所以拒絕了阮經理要給的伴手禮,再來我也真的感受不到,餐飲部的歉意。妳們真的有感受到我們在意的事?還是只是想趕緊息事寧人! 剛剛跟朋友無意聊到這次花蓮住宿經驗,她原先想安排3/8或是4/4連假過去,現在決定不去太魯閣晶英了。原因很簡單,一個晚上要上萬的消費,一餐要不少費用,太魯閣也等同與世隔絕,去那邊等於專程前往。 我們原用意在於提醒, 卻反被餐飲部主管 進行教育&檢討! 可能妳們主管當久了,習慣說、習慣發號施令 早已不習慣聽別人說、也不在乎別人說什麼了!!!
可能你們不缺我們這組客人, 也難怪,國人寧可有錢出國也不想留在國內消費
