第一次來這間豆花店是因為接送讀國中的小孩下課，順便來此享用豆花，小孩覺得豆花冰涼又甜蜜，直誇好吃，但附近停車不算方便，所以就偶爾才來這裡吃上一碗，小孩國中畢業後，就較少來此，這次是在河濱騎自行車，經過大直橋時突發奇想而來，直到停車時，內子才發現原來是到愛弟豆花店。 愛弟豆花店位在大馬路邊的轉角處，鄰近大直捷運站，店招牌明顯，地點絕佳，招牌上有一個圓形商標，中間是個古老的石磨機，我們走進門，店內裝潢擺設似乎一切沒變，彷彿搭乘時光機回到過去，原木的桌椅，造景石頭與盆栽，菜單上餐點項目很簡單，豆花、綠豆湯及紅茶，其他是配料，大碗55元，小碗45元，以這地段來說，真是佛心價，因我與內子隔三天要到醫院進行全身健檢，必須低渣飲食，因此點了小碗的檸檬豆花，沒加其他配料，沒想到內子從第一口開始，就驚呼連連，幾乎沒吃過這樣的豆花組合，口味卻相當迷人，古早味的豆花味，加上搭配極好的檸檬汁與糖水，完美比例，非常推薦，有別豆花粉圓或花生豆花的風味，我們就像哥倫布發現了新大陸般地開心。
