Dajia Riverside Park — Attraction in Taipei

大佳河滨公園 is one of our all-time, all-season favourite park for a perfect day out with our young kids. There are so many things to do here for the family in this wonderfully designed huge park - cycling, skating, digging in the huge sandpit, playing in the children playground, running after butterflies, etc.

However there are some areas that can be improved to make the park even cleaner & safer.

Lack of garbage bins, resulting in visitors, especially picnickers dumping their rubbish into the public toilets.

Dogs walking unleashed & treating the whole park as their toilet, depositing dog poos in the field, along the pavement & in many corners! This is totally unhygienic, repulsive & irresponsible behaviour.

Unauthorised vehicles sneaking into the park & even parking on bicycles & walking lanes. Please see photo on 9 April 2023 at 4pm with a long line of vehicles parked within the park, scaring many young unsuspecting cyclists and other users.

If the relevant authorities can look into how they can solve the above problems, the experience for park users will be so much more pleasant,...

"Dajia Riverside Park" is located on the left bank of the Keelung River.

There is a magnificent straight bridge connecting the park and the Meidi Riverside on the diagonally opposite bank. Dajia Park has elegant scenery and a wide view. There are vast grasslands and large fountains in the park. There are also sports facilities such as courts.

No matter whether it is morning or evening, many people can be seen walking on the river embankment trail, or walking or running, and There are several kilometers of bicycle path around the district, where you can enjoy the beautiful embankment scenery by cycling leisurely. From different angles, you can see the opposite Grand Hotel or the Miramar Ferris wheel in the distance.
