Nice deco with blue theme. Clean and neat. Great plating. All the food are tasty and above average but missing one signature dish to stand out. Duck breast is tender but the plate was not hot and the taro sauce is interesting but not really adding flavors to the duck. Would recommend some sweet and sour sauce to go with the duck such as a variation of Hakka orange marmalade. The fig salad is tasty but it tastes like a basic salad with balsamic sauce without special salad leaves to highlight. Prosciutto in the salad is too light, and cannot be spotted by the tounge. Figs were nice additions to the salad but again the the salad is missing a soul. Opeitsei tastes good and the presentation is very amazing. However, the flavor is not too different from normal Taiwanese food stand except it's without soya paste. Garlic potatoes chips taste like normal chips which you can by on the street chips chain but the sauce was nice with the spring onions additions. Merlot wine from USA was surprisingly good and smooth. The spring chicken of the risotto is a bit dry and tastes like normal grill chicken topped with some white pepper power. Risotto with chestnuts was a great idea and the risotto rice was el dente. Probably can consider using truffles in the risotto to give it a hit of flavor. Finally, dessert apple pie roll was a great surprise. Apple meat was so fresh and perfectly seasoned with cinnamon powder. The homemade vanilla ice cream is so refreshing and definitely deserves a big thumbs up. Overall, it's a nice restaurant to visit, and you will not be disappointed. But it does have a great potential and has some works to do if it is aiming for...

I’ve actually been here early last year, and was super excited to try this place out again! The spiced pork ribs was the most memorable dish for me that time, and they didn’t disappoint this time either. Another favorite dish of mine was the grilled cuttlefish, although they substituted the vinaigrette to something else because of my tree nut allergy. The satay ragu fettuccine was also another favorite of mine!
The service was quick and friendly, with the staff being super accommodating towards my nut allergy. For the foreigners, the waiters and waitresses spoke English well, and can also introduce the dishes in English.
All in all, I’m hoping to come by whenever I come to visit Taiwan! It’s definitely one of my favorite...
Read moreTLDR: The seafood might be weird due to local taste. Chowder was a surprise. Duck breast was average.
Came here with my wife, this was the very first restaurant we tried during our stay in Taipei this time.
The decoration was adorable, service was attentive, but some staff could use some more training since they added normal drinking water into my sparkling water lol.
The seafood was a bit unprocessed or unseasoned. But since I grew up in Taiwan, I’d say that’s the normal taste; however, it might not be tasteful if ur not from around here, like my wife, she didn’t like it. So please keep this in mind if u wanna try some seafood here. BUT, the scallop was way too fishy, definitely wouldn’t recommend the scallop.
The mocktail was pretty good, could use a taller glass and add more sparkling water into it. Just a suggestion.
The duck breast was average. We’ve had better, but they didn’t do anything wrong in...
