如果都是台灣人給這麼好的評價,那我真的懷疑台灣人可能不知道真正的印度食物是什麼。吃不懂?
We arrived for lunch as scheduled at 11:30am . It seems like the restaurant is not ready for customer. We have been directed to the basement and the air conditioning wasn't on until it opened its door.
The basement was stuffing, air conditioning just turned on so it wasn't cool yet. And we smell very strong pest Control spray all over the place. I saw 2 cans of bug spray on the floor. It's really intoxicated us. Smelled awful!
I found a mouse droppings on my table. Although the waiter kept apologizing and then cleaned out my table. But it's already say a lot about this restaurant. I did not leave because this was found by my friend. I did not wanna hurt her feelings so we did not leave .
My husband and I are big Indian food lovers. We traveled around the world eating all kinds of Indian food. This is not Indian food, it doesn't have the spice fragrance it doesn't test authentic. The food came as lukewarm not hot at all. It felt like they made the food few days in advance and just to warm up for up. It's not authentic Indian food. I have no idea what we were eating.
The waiter and waitress kept coming to ask"how are you doing? " "how is everything?" "how is the flavor?" "do you want me to teach you how to eat this?" Too frequent, too many times, it is kind of annoying. I was in the middle of eating, and mouthful of food. I still have to answer her or talk!😫😫
There were so many things that had gone wrong. It is not worth the money.
I really don't know why it has good rating on Google....

The flavors are well-balanced, a refreshing change from the heavier spices often found in Indian restaurants. We ordered the Butter Chicken and Vegetable Curry, both of which were exceptional. The Butter Chicken had a subtle sweetness that we hadn't experienced before, making it a unique and delicious dish. The Vegetable Curry was equally impressive, with a perfect blend of spices and fresh vegetables. Paired with the soft and fluffy naan, it was a truly satisfying meal. The service at Vijay was top-notch. The staff was patient and knowledgeable, explaining the traditional Indian way of eating. They were also attentive to our needs, ensuring that we were enjoying our meal. As a pleasant surprise, we were treated to a special ginger candy at the end of our meal. Overall, our dining experience at Vijay was fantastic. The delicious food, excellent service, and comfortable ambiance made it a memorable occasion. We highly recommend Vijay to anyone looking for authentic and flavorful...

Got 3 items today. (1) "Dilwala Tandoori Murg Half" - the King of Kebabs and the best known Indian delicacy of Chicken - was extremely dry, hard while tough on my palate, appearing to be something prepared hours ago and reheated upon my phone order. (2) "Ajwani Tandoori Jhinga" - the mumbo prawns marinated with ajwain, red chillies, turmeric powder - pretty much same as the foregoing and served lukewarm. (3) "Murg Do Pyaza" - chicken thigh cooked with chopped onions, tomato gravy garnished with coriander & ginger: REALLY? CHICKEN THIGH? CURRY AND YOGURT WITH SEMI-FOSSIL CHICKEN MIGHT HAVE BEEN MORE TENDER THAN THIS.
Was a place serving quality food, though pricey, not long ago. Terrible job done today by the 2...
