12 Hotpot Taipei Minquan Longjiang Branch — Restaurant in Zhongshan District

I come here often. The food is great and it’s an amazing deal. The service is also great. But the management of tables is pure incompetence.

Lowering my rating— I’ll raise it if they fix their system. They will leave open seats for 30-40 minutes because the next number in queue is a large group.

Whoever designed how they manage tables did a horrible job. I can’t say enough how dumb their system is.

If you just sat someone at a 2 person table, go up the number queue until you find another single person waiting, don’t leave that seat empty for 40 minutes. They make people wait and lose out on lots of money with their current system.

Edit: I saw someone filling in single seats today instead of leaving them open....

Pretty good and satisfying. Everything was fresh, service was good, waiters very responsive/friendly/polite/nice, orders came quickly. Restroom is decent, decor modern. We did order 3 or 4 extra trays of meat to be full for a party of 4: two adults and 2 young children. Would definitely come again. We ate at 5 pm and by the time we finished at 6 pm, the restaurant was packed and the line was out the door. Glad we came early. Oh, the lemon wintermelon...

This place is good! You choose the broth, selection of meat, beverage (try the slushi its sweet but goes well with hotpot) and rice/noodles. I recommend also trying out some of the different meatballs, get an egg, and a side of Taiwanese donuts! The sauce is great here! You can help yourself.
