Tried soy milk cincau, sweet and sour pork, and bubuchacha to-go.
If you're Southeast Asian, this place completely misses the mark for "taste of home". It is clearly tailored to Taiwanese taste buds.
Sweet and sour pork – No wok hei, wrong seasoning, wrong coating. The sauce is overly sweet, and despite the menu saying it's spicy, there was zero heat. I had to ask for cut chillies in soy sauce just to salvage it. Also — and this is a cardinal sin — the egg yolk wasn’t runny. (RM35)
Soy milk cincau – Basic. No sugar, just soy milk with grass jelly. It is what it is.
Bubuchacha – The only saving grace. I ordered it with no ice, which I highly recommend to preserve the consistency and sweetness. Honestly, this dessert alone earned them two stars.

I had the pleasure of dining at this Malaysian restaurant today and tried their Buttery Chicken Rice—it was an absolute delight! The chicken strips were crispy on the outside and incredibly tender on the inside, cooked to perfection. The rich, creamy butter sauce added an irresistible aroma and smooth texture, enhancing the overall flavor without being overwhelming.
The rice was soft and fluffy, perfectly absorbing the delicious sauce, making every bite satisfying. The restaurant had a cozy ambiance, and the staff were warm and attentive, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. Whether you’re a fan of buttery flavors or just looking to try something unique, this dish is definitely worth ordering. Highly...

However, I found it a bit too sweet for my liking, and a reduction in sweetness would enhance the dish even more.
The sambal was a bit of a letdown, as it lacked the distinct shrimp paste flavor and didn't pack the spicy punch I was hoping for. A spicier version would definitely elevate the experience.
On a positive note, the yimian was—fresh and clean. The laksa was also delicious.
Overall, it offers a genuine taste of Malaysia, and I'm looking forward to returning with friends to share this culinary gem. With a few tweaks, it could be...
