Bite 2 Eat — Restaurant in Zhubei City

We just had an uncomfortable and unwelcoming lunch at this resto. As we finished our lunch and accompanied our daughter playing inside the playroom, the waitress came over and told us that she would clean up our table already and we needed to get our water jar. My husband felt bad for the staff demanding him to get our water jar while we were still within the restaurant. As the staff handed over our water jar, she added telling us again not to bring the water within the playroom area. I stood up from the playroom,felt annoyed, and told the staff that it was rude for her to let us get our jar from the table just because she wanted to clean up. She could have just proceeded with the tidying while allowing us to put our stuff on the table we stayed at. We felt so unwelcomed and felt the selfishness and reluctance of their staffs. With this kind of service and ambiance, not a family with kids would like to dine here again. They forgot that clients dine out to relax, have a good fellowship w people. Delicious sour bread pizza with a perfect chewy crust. This is reasonably priced Italian restaurant with a good range of pizza, pasta and other dishes. After spotting the wood fired pizza oven on the way in I had to try their pizza. I wasn’t disappointed the texture was absolutely amazing, possible the best I’ve had in Taiwan. Very much Italian in style, so light on toppings, but very chewy (in a good way). I paired it with a Flea golden Italian craft beer - also excellent. The restaurant is beautifully decorated with lots of nice creative touches. There are plenty of seats and a play area for kids. The only negative was the pile of unused furniture in the middle of both the first and second floors (given how nicely decorated the restaurant is this really takes away from the ambiance - maybe chairs/high chairs could be hidden under the stairs).
