fifteen — Restaurant in Zhubei City

This place opened early 2023 so I had to check it out. I came here for a quiet dinner by myself and the whole experience was very zen from the moment I changed into their slippers. I was the only customer there for most of the time.

I went to get their sundae which I had at their other Soya location. They were so thoughtful that they asked me if I wanted them to split the sundae into two servings so I could eat half there and have half to-go! They assured me that they would still make 1/2 a sundae 🍨 look very instagrammable. Speaking of which, they had a promotion where you can do an IG story and get a free soft serve or a whole bottle of soya milk, nonfat or regular. I got the free regular bottle.

They actually offer orecchiette, which I did not expect to find in Taiwan. Unfortunately, they were out of the ear-shaped pasta so I got something else. My entree was not too unique for this type of cuisine but I will be back to try others. They also gave me a complimentary cup of tea and offered samples of any soy milk or yogurt you want to try.

Since there is water decor in the new complex it's located in, there are a lot of mosquitos. I got 7 mosquito bites in 10 minutes. I informed a worker who was actually a chef and they scrounged up a bug repellant and a balm for me. (Pictures included for fun) Such thoughtful service! food wise - delicious, creative, natural, light, healthy! yet, i find it a bit overpriced given the relatively small portion.

service - i was the first customer on that day and the lady told me she didn’t know how to make the beverage so i got to wait until 12 pm when the barista checked in which is absolutely fine for me. when I finished my sushi bowl, I still didn’t get my drink yet. then i checked with the lady after a while and she told me that they normally serve the drink after the customer finishes the food, which I find it very bizarre. it’s different from what she told me in the first place and i wasn’t asked when i’d like my drink...

Found an organic vegan restaurant and had a very pleasant dining experience. Was really impressed by their vegan cheese and every dish was very flavorful with different dressings, but not overly seasoned.

Btw, we were late and the staffs were very kind to wait for us. Totally recommend and will be back for sure.
