Let me be upfront and say this review is of a single dish and a single occasion. So given that other reviews are positive maybe I was just unlucky. Let me cut to the chase, the let down was the food. Having not eaten all day and therefore feeling very hungry I ordered the jumbo burger 🍔 for $450. It looked great and was bigger than I expected. However, I was to be disappointed. The burger patties were dense and dry, and overcooked to the point of being barely edible. It was the worst burger I’ve had for a long time. The meat was leathery and chewy (not in a nice way). Worse the taste was bland and also disappointing. I don’t know if they make their own patties - it they do, I recommend changing the recipe and checking for freshness, if they buy them in then it’s time to change suppliers.

Note I did also ask for no mustard as I’m allergic to it so maybe that made it drier, but fundamentally the meat was overcooked and tough. It’s a pity as the restaurant was clean and nicely decorated, creating a pleasant relaxed atmosphere . The service was prompt and helpful.

Would I go back to try something else? Maybe but based on the burger...

Calm atmosphere with piano music in the background although the AC is a little strong. The food is well-presented and expertly cooked. I would like more to my salad than simply lettuce leaves and two pieces of cucumber and tomato each. I would also like our food and drinks to arrive at the same time since there are only two of us dining, usually.

竹北家樂福附近開了一家新的店，過來嘗嘗鮮。 上網google了一下是從桃園開過來的分店，評價看起來還不錯。 這次點的是奶油燻鮭魚燉飯，還有加點159套餐。 先說說套餐，159套餐有湯、沙拉跟飲料，湯是巧達蛤蠣濃湯，飲料我點了西西里檸檬氣泡咖啡。套餐的沙拉搭配甜甜鹹鹹胡麻醬，點綴了生菜的甜味，很開胃；濃湯的部分味道很不錯，如果喜歡好市多濃湯的人一定也會喜歡；西西里檸檬氣泡咖啡喝起來有點酸，與咖啡明亮的調性搭配起來很適合，平常愛喝酸甜滋味的可以嘗試。 套餐有起到開胃的作用，吃起來滿愉快的。😄

主餐的部分是奶油燻鮭魚燉飯。 我對燉飯還蠻挑剔的，有些人喜歡燉飯湯汁多一點，但我是偏好湯汁要收乾的那一派，湯汁收到剛剛好包裹著米粒對我來說是最完美的。因為不知道這家店是哪一種，所以懷著忐忑的心情等待上菜。當餐送來了才鬆了一口氣，是我喜歡的那種。他們家的燉飯汁收的剛剛好，米粒也都充分吸收了鮭魚跟奶醬的味道，每一口都吃到的鹹鹹的煙燻鮭魚味跟甜甜的奶醬香味，不誇張真的會一口接一口，一不小心就完食了😂。 順帶一提，上菜時看到鮭魚折的玫瑰花有會心一笑（飲料裡的冰塊也有一顆玫瑰花），覺得也太可愛了，蠻討喜的😆。 最後說說店內環境。 店內環境明亮，店員看起來都很年輕，也都蠻親切的，很有禮貌，服務很不錯。整體來說在這裡用餐體驗蠻舒服的，適合聚餐也適合獨享，推薦給大家。
