Kahawa Cafe Arusha — Restaurant in Arusha

Ok tbf i really like this place. It has a certain vibe but i promise no bias. Ok so its situated at the back of Shoppers Plaza. Which tbh i don't mind. But the fact that i have to walk through aisles of things that I don't need but would buy in a heartbeat.. AMBIANCE & VIBE • It has a very nice coffee shop vibe. Better set up than anywhere else in Arusha i think. Cozy seating areas, kids corner for busy parents who need their daily dose of caffeine. The lighting is the best. It has warm light bulbs hanging but they aren't the main source of light. They're just there to be part of the atmosphere. Love it! I can even see it becoming like a workspace if they modified a certain section just for people who need a place with good coffee and Wifi.

QUALITY OF FOOD Haven't tried everything but the chips were fairly average. Nothing i couldn't get in a local cafe. But maybe their speciality is the breakfast menu! So I'll give that a try and see if its up to par. Looks tempting and fairly priced compared to some other places. The staff are very friendly, warm and welcoming.

QUALITY OF COFFEE Coffee is coffee. Especially in Tanzania where we use local coffee beans to make our coffee. But i like that they give importance to the presentation. I get a nice leaf that gives a nice personal touch to it. They also have made an effort to upgrade what is found on the streets of Tanzania from Zanzibar to Geita. Where you get a shot of expresso that is bitter and sweeten it by having it with a bar of 'kashata' which is made of peanuts. Absolutely beautiful place to have a quick bite. Very clean and tidy place. Food is super delicious. I would recommend their chicken pizza any time. Absolutely mouth watering. Ive been coming here for about a week and all was fine until I was stopped as I was leaving out so the Manager could ask if I had left without paying. What? It was rude and unprofessional, in my opinion. Especially given the fact that I paid him specifically for my meal.
