A cheap basic place for a couple of nights. Sheets are clean and they have hot running water for most parts of the day. Don't expect housekeeping service during your stay. WiFi is available throughout the hotel but it's weak. Be warned of the 5am morning calls from loud traffic honking outside. There is a restaurant that provides toast, eggs, coffee and tea for breakfast and can do a la carte meals from their menu. Staff are approachable and they also allowed us to cook instant noodles for dinner last night. Location is central and walking distance from the Arusha Clock Tower and Central Market.

Good food, nice people and oke rooms. Thank you for the easy and chill way of handling people! Ask for Godson Nassary, the Managing Director! He will sort you out!

The single rooms have a very small bed and just okay facilities. The double bed rooms are worth the money though. Prices are slightly fair.

The staff here are very helpful and nice which is why I gave them 3 stars total - the actual hotel is pretty good. I stayed in two different rooms (before and after safari). In the first one the tap didn't work but I know they would have let me change rooms if it were a big problem (it wasn't as they had a tap to wash your feet which I used instead). The second had a massive pipe running through it which is very loud when water runs through (for the time I was in this room it maybe ran about 4 times per day once being at midnight which is quite disturbing, if I'm honest so try to make sure you get a room without the pipe in it. There is some noise from other guests but for a one or two night stay, if you have ear plugs it should be okay (I think Arusha as a whole is just quite lively in the evenings) The food was very nice and affordable and they made sure to help me as I was unfortunately sick from safari. Very grateful to the staff...

My boyfriend and I stayed at Meru House Inn in December 2017. We showed up very late after the long bus ride from Dar. Getting off the bus we met Emanuel. He brought us to the hotel, gave us the best price, and organized an amazing Safari experience for us for the next morning. Emanuel took us to local places to eat and made sure we were comfortable and well looked after.||The room was basic, but had everything needed to spend a few nights. The shower was nice and consistantly hot which was a pleasant change from other places we'd been at. The bed was comfy and the room was a good temperature for sleeping. ||We had a very nice stay at Meru House Inn and I would recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for a nice/functional room for a very good price as well as lovely staff, filling breakfast, and last...
