A nice and well stocked supermarket...a bit busy and usually full but worth the crowd..they have enough enough staff and so easy to get help and sometimes important when doing a major shopping and with a kid...one of the guys will gladly help carry your basket and help you do a quicker shopping..prices are also very fair and l guess why it attracts a crowd..wish they didn't have to close so long a time over lunch time as that's the busiest time and preferred time for shopping and sometimes you have to wait till afternoon for them to...
Read moreThey say they're open till 3 pm on sundays but I went at 2:35 and they didn't let me enter saying the store is closed. So if on Sunday you want to go, it's better you go as early as possible as they don't mean 3:00 pm when they say 3:00 pm, they mean much earlier than that. I was pretty sure that I would be done in ten mins but they didn't let me enter.
On another note, The place has almost all grocery items although some are more expensive than at some other stores but it's good since one can find everything...

The prices at this place has, all the time i visited the place lower than any other supermarket in Arusha. They focus on economy of scale not on prices. While they may sell the same item 100-times those who sell at a higher price only sell 20-times or even less. I have noted that in some supermarket items get expired, but i doubt whether anything at Rushda...
