This Lebanese restaurant is tucked away on a lively street known for its selection of quality dining options and high-end Japanese car dealerships — a rather unexpected, yet memorable, location. Despite the surrounding area being more vehicle-focused, the restaurant stands out as part of a growing hub of authentic Middle Eastern cuisine. The star of the menu is undoubtedly the generous shawarma portions. Packed with flavour and generously layered with rich sauces, it's a satisfying and surprising meal. The bread used for wrapping is particularly interesting — it’s soft and fluffy, with a texture reminiscent of East African flatbreads, which gives this traditional Lebanese dish a unique local twist. The interior has a clean, cafeteria-style layout, creating an open and airy atmosphere. There is plenty of seating on the ground floor and upstairs, making it suitable for both quick meals and longer sit-downs. Although the decor is not upscale, the venue manages to create a casual and welcoming atmosphere. The service is decent and polite overall, but the team is clearly stretched thin as they handle both in-house diners and delivery orders simultaneously. While the staff were never rude or disinterested, there were moments when they seemed understandably overwhelmed. Payment is mostly straightforward — credit cards are accepted without issue. However, be aware that some debit cards may not be processed successfully, as the payment terminal struggled with mine during checkout. This restaurant truly shines in terms of value for money. Portions are generous, and considering the size and quality of the dishes, the prices are impressively reasonable. It's the kind of place where you walk away feeling full and satisfied, and like you’ve spent less than you should have. # Shawarma # Dar es Salaam # Tanzania

Friendly staff and nice indoor seating area. However, very dangerous due to the open stairs. Nothing to protect, no frame nothing. A kid has fallen from the stairs directly to the cement floor and banged her head infront of me. Not criticising the food or anything, just the owner needs to do something about this URGENTLY. Anyone can fall and get seriously injured. Parents I urge you to make sure your child does not climb those stairs.

Chill spot with good food and halal options. Offers decent privacy—nice for quiet conversations or casual meetups with friends.

No matter how good the food is, if the service and atmosphere are bad, then everything is gone. I stopped eating halfway due to the fly bug. A group of flies have come to the food. It seems that the owners of the hotel were sitting there but it didn't bother them at all. And very slow...
