Stepping into this Turkish restaurant is like walking into a 1970s café—it's nostalgic, but signs of ageing prevent it from reaching its full potential as a relaxing spot. The interior could benefit from an update to match the quality of the food on offer.
The menu offers a modern take on traditional Turkish dishes, incorporating elements of Swahili cuisine such as shawarma. While this fusion may diverge slightly from the classic Ottoman concept, the food itself remains consistently enjoyable and of an above-average standard.
The well-mannered and attentive staff add a touch of professionalism to the experience. Prices are slightly higher than expected for what is on offer, but considering the restaurant's prime location right at the entrance of a shopping mall, the cost is justified. It’s a solid option for those craving Turkish flavours with a local twist.
