I was very happy with our meal at ember and spice. Everything was great, honestly. The service was quick and the food came out in just a few minutes. We had a couple of curries, rice, naan, some fresh juice and masala chai and I actually can't fault anything.

The chai had a wonderfully strong spiced taste and was so creamy, and unlike many restaurants it was clear the juice had just been made from fresh pineapples. So delicious. I also want to shout out the naan, in particular. I don't know what they're doing with their dough that's so different from other Indian restaurants but it was perfect, almost like they fermented it a bit longer, or maybe the flour they're using isn't the typically used tanzanian flour. I'm not sure but it was crispy, light, chewy, stretchy, and airy all at once. My husband and I ordered another naan after one bite because we immediately knew we'd want extra.
