Kbb beach bar restaurant — Restaurant in Unguja

Simple menu, although deceptively long. Maria and her lovely staff honestly made our average but good value stay at kbb an absolute pleasure (albeit a little more expensive 😜). We knowingly racked a fair bill at this place because it made our cheap and cheerful stay at kbb feel like a 5 star holiday. Excellent seafood consistently prepped/cooked/presented immaculately. Homemade pastas and salads were great although the pasta types could be more varied. Maria is truly a hostess of the mostest and has shared her attitude and skills generously with her best staff. How would I upgrade: more homemade pasta varieties, an old-fashioned on the cocktail menu, but I'm picking holes. An understated gem made from 8 pillars...

I definitely love this place. It's in front of KBB resort and it's managed by an amazing Italian lady, Maria. She cooked for me yummy and fresh food. Her "cuoppo" of fried fish was delicious. Here you can really find a piece of Italy. Maria is incredible friendly and sweet and she also helped me to solve a small problem I had with a beach boy. I really recommend eating here. I can't wait to taste her...

I asked if chicken in chicken makange has bones and the waitress said: "No, no bones". That's why I ordered it.
