ZAMANI CAFE — Restaurant in Unguja

I’ve been here a couple of times but even though the service is super slow , I never minded before because the food was worth it, and there’s usually one waiter who always gives good customer service. HOWEVER, yesterday was the last straw for me - so a friend of mine came to Zanzibar and she always talked about how she wanted to visit Zamani cafe because she liked their vibes, later in the evening, we visited the cafe and it was packed but the service was not only slow but terrible as well. The waiters and the lady who stays at the counter would ignore us and turn all their attention to a certain Zanzibari influencer who was present at the time, when we call them, they would express annoyance in their faces..we even had to beg for a menu..while we notice them running up and down for that influencer lady…We were so disappointed and decided to leave and go to another place where we would also be valued as customers despite not being famous and having connections with the...

This place is so bad, do not attend to this place, I’m currently sat here and have been waiting for my order and it’s something so small and simple. I tried calling one of the staff members, they look at me in the face and ignored me. There’s only three dishes in the main menu, there’s no reason for the food to take this long to be made.
