I don't normally write reviews but this time I felt compelled given the experience I had at this place. Had a "cocktail" there, a mojito. Music was interrupting every 5 seconds, which was already annoying from the beginning. While waiting for the cocktail, I saw 2 mice running around the bar, where the tables for guests were. I went to check on the bartenders preparing my cocktail, they were making it in the back of the bar, both sitting next to each other blocking the view so I couldn't see what they were doing. When it was ready, I took a sip and there was obviously no alcohol in it. When I asked for an explanation on what alcohol they used, as they didn't speak English, they showed me a bottle of gin. Obviously mojito is made with rum and not gin. I asked for my money back, they made it clear it's not possible. I stayed a week in Jambiani, literally any place is better than this, you're even better off buying a beer from the supermarket and drinking it on the beach. Not sure how this place is open, my recommendation is...

Just went in to buy a bottle of Sprite. Gave 10000, and the bartender just disappeared.

Went after him to ask for a change, he said need to wait 5 min. After waiting 10 min later, he comes back and says need to wait 5 min. I never got the change and left. Total rip off.

I wanted to come another day as the place looked nice, but you just lost a lot more than gained by ripping me of on the change.

Went there to buy soda. The bartender was visibly high. Took the money and left. I went to ask the change back, he said he will be back in 4 minutes. Then he wasn’t anywhere to be seen and i went in the back and called him, i just heart laughing and he asked why arent you leaving, then asked which hotel you’re staying. Scary and really f*ed up experience being robbed like this. Would have definitely stayed for the vibe but...
