Bonchon Mega Bangna — Restaurant in Bang Kaeo Town Municipality

When we first came in we sat down, and then were told kindly to leave and go into the line because we didn’t know there was one. I was with my friend. We then waited for about 15 minutes, with only 1 person in front of us. There were three clear tables we could see but they didn’t sit us down on those and led us to another.

We sat down into a 4 seat table, and wanted to move onto another table that was free and had a couch on either side. There is 2 of us. We didn’t complain though since a seat is a seat at least and we were tired of waiting in line.

The problem I had though was considering that we had to get a Ticket, and wait in line while this couple after we sat down walked in and sat on the table we were wanting to go on. 2 people as well.

We then finished choosing what to eat, and as we called over someone to order our food they turned around to take the order of the couple that walked in and skipped the line, and after taking Their order they walked off and once we called them over again they walked off and another waiter came over.

We only had one plate on our table, and a knife on top of it. It took them sometime to bring the rest of the cutlery. They tended to the couple first, of course.

We’re both 13, so that might be why. But still, young or not please respond to customers instead of delaying their calls for someone else that called later. We found this very upsetting.

My shin ramen didn’t have one of the toppings I’ve asked for either. The fish we ordered lacked meat and was very weird from the usual bonchon fish we have. It’s called crispy fish but it was very soggy. The fish had no flavor. The little cups of lemonade tasted like soda water too and were distasteful. The taste of the kimchi in my shin ramen was sour and tasted spice-less.

Next time you come to IKEA, don’t come to bonchon. It...

The staff in here work very hard. Always running. The restaurant is uncomfortably hot and cramped though making dining feel unpleasant and not relaxing.

The chicken is great but the other dishes are very questionable. Ordered the fried squid which should be crispy but it was made by either Michelin or Pirelli: it was really like trying to chew tyre rubber.

The pork belly was ok: tasty but far from tender; the rice rolls again just ok
