Taste Homemade Pasta — Restaurant in Chanthaburi Province

Excellent restaurant in a nice and quiet location directly at the river.

Had mushroom pasta with truffle sauce that was so good, that I had to eat the same next evening again. Also had focaccia as a side, which was perfectly tasty and crunchy.

Staff is super friendly and always looking to help.

I also he a very nice chat with one of the owners. Super nice and friendly as well. He told me that everything they serve is hand made. Pasta, Pizza Dough, Focaccia and what shall I say. It isn't only self made it is perfectly made.

Long story short. If you want to dine in Chanthaburi, this is definitely the pace to go.

We ate two pizzas here. Well... to be honest, the menu was full of Italian dishes, on the last page they even described where the chefs trained (in Italy). I asked for a simple margarita pizza with extra bacon feote. The pizza dough (although you could choose to be original Italian) was of poor quality, and the only quality topping on the topping was the tomato sauce. The bacon was almost burned to the point of coal, it actually crunched under my teeth, they didn't understand the meaning of bacon. They probably baked it separately and then put it on top of the already half-cooled pizza afterwards. We came to eat here before about 3-4 years ago and at the time the food was really nice.

Since then, I have lived in Italy as a local for 1 year and have eaten Italian food all over Italy. To then come back here and I ordered the bigoli pesto pasta and the pizza formaggi with home made dough, blew my mind taste buds away! Paired with a delicious Chianti, produced by a local Italian vineyard… the perfect meal. My boys ordered their favourite Italian dishes too, pappardelle beef ragu and Maccaroni carbonara. They did not leave a single pasta in their plate 😋
