Highly recommend, homey style cooking like mom-made. There are a lot of menus, i ordered 4 dishes; fried rice chinese style (yang-chow), stir fried vermicelli with shripm & thai veggie, deep fried pork belly with garlic & chilli, and last one is sour soup with pork (this dish is very hard to find in local restaurant and they did it well). Read moreThis is one of the best restaurants that we have tried in Chiang Mai. It's located in the central area and is super easy to get to. The host spoke English well and was able to explain the dishes in detail to us. They cook traditional Northern Thai dishes and everything we had was presented with such care. For a restaurant with an amazing atmosphere and staff, the price was surprisingly reasonable. We ordered 3 dishes for 2 people for a total of ~500 TBH and were super full after the meal. Highly recommend it if you are looking for a great meal in Chiang Mai and don't want to wait in line for some upscale, pretentious...
Read moreEvery dish is truly delicious. I ordered quite a variety and loved them all, especially the fried rice with Chinese kale and salted fish, which was so good I had to order it twice. The flavor is well-balanced, the rice is not too dry, and the kale is tender yet crispy. And also The Yum Woon Sen Boran (classic spicy glass noodle salad) is another standout, packed with an abundance of traditional toppings and bursting with bold, vibrant flavours.
The tables are always fully booked, so it's highly recommended to make a reservation...
