A friend and I decided to eat there after run for breakfast at 8:00am when they opened. Both are vegetarians and was pleased to announce it wasn't too difficult to alter most items on their menu to suit our craving. We shared an Avocado Smash and Sassy Salsa both without egg. I decided to supplement the egg for an additional slice of bread.
Presentation was very pleasing to the eyes. The Sassy Salsa had the right amount of flavor and is a definitely a most try. As for the Avocado Smash, my only recommendation is adding some sort of crunchy texture to the meal. Even if it had egg everything would be too soft. Next time instead of additional slice of bread I like to ask if they would add a few slices of raw onions or something similar to give it that clean fresh taste it was so missing.
Otherwise, than that simple suggestion, this cafe is a real treat. It offers that creative touch from once you step into the grounds up until you leave. As even the check arrived on a motherboard; which I thought added a unique touch to the artistic cafe.
It isn't the most inexpensive meal you will eat in Chiang Mai, but then again unless it's original thai food you can always expect to pay a little extra. However, it is definitely worth visiting when you crave something clean and healthy. We both left feeling good about what you ate and ready to...
Read moreThis is my favourite coffee shop/cafe in Chiang Mai! I love the staff there, they are always smiling and friendly. The service is amazing; the staff are very accommodating. I've never had any service related issues at all. The food is really great, with a good number of delicious dishes to choose from. I love their SS Benedict and Avo Smash! I've been there a number of times for brunch while getting some work done and it's the perfect environment for it. The decor of the place is really hip and trendy, making for a creative and stimulating atmosphere to be in if one is looking for inspiration. It is a comfortable experience whether seated indoors (with a/c) or outdoors. The coffee is also really good. The caramel latte and mocha are my favourite! I love that they offer other kinds of non-dairy milk like almond and soy. Thank you for providing such a peaceful and beautiful environment to enjoy your delicious food. I love your style and your vibe! I will recommend your place to all those who visit Chiang Mai. I can honestly say I'm gonna miss it...
Read moreAbove average food, slow service, menu inaccurate
Hot caramel latte - very good
Eggs Benedict - great flavors but only one egg so need to update menu from "eggs" to "egg" (or change dish to include 2 eggs); egg was overcooked, almost hard boiled; they were good enough to make me an extra egg properly cooked at no extra charge
Wife says omelet too oily and no cheese, kind of average - not bad or great
Main issue is it's a small restaurant with an even smaller kitchen. A 20-30 minute wait for food seemed pretty normal during the hour or so we were there
Really nice staff and apologetic about the egg issue, which they acknowledged other customers have complained about.
If you don't mind waiting and order the right items, could be a...
