This hidden gem of a bar, nestled down a dusty road and within a beautifully enclosed area with tall walls, exudes tranquility and exclusivity. Situated on the second floor above a chic restaurant, 1892 Bar is a Thai-styled enclave in the city's heart.

The interior is a perfect blend of traditional Thai elements and modern elegance, creating a welcoming and sophisticated atmosphere. With rich wooden accents, subtle lighting, and cozy seating, it's an ideal spot for relaxation and conversation.

The wine selection is a highlight, featuring both a Chilean white and a red wine, each with their distinct and enjoyable flavors. The white was refreshingly crisp, perfect for an evening out, while the red was richly flavorful and balanced, showcasing the bar's commitment to quality.

Relaxing at the 1892 Bar (the 2nd floor of The Garden Restaurant footprint) with a beautifully crafted cocktail and enjoying an incredible meal at The Garden Restaurant is a luxury experience not to be missed if you’re looking to celebrate. The Aleenta Resort Chiang Mai is tucked away in the hills and the environment is so peaceful and lovely. The 1892 Piano Bar is manned by a very talented mixologist with “Cocktail, the movie” mixologist moves. The piano bar itself was a step into the past with speakeasy vibes and the cocktails were superb.

The Garden Restaurant is out of this world delicious and worth the bit extra for flavor, presentation, and quality. It is a genuine farm-to-table concept and focuses on transparency and sustainability. A wonderful experience with an incredibly welcoming staff. I asked to watch my drink be prepared, and the bartender Pom individually presented each ingredient explaining measurements and purpose. I enjoyed the 'Peanut Delight' as I have been craving non-savory peanut butter since coming to study here. The mocktail delightfully combines fresh mango and sweet peanut butter using soy milk and oats as supporting flavors. By the time my drink was prepared, my supper order had arrived. The Thai agedashi tofu was luxurious, incorporating tamarind and Thai chili into the typical sauce. I also enjoyed the gaeng hang lay, a signature dish with local roots.
